POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages the team that develops and designs marketing strategies and the user experience on all ADP RS Web initiatives. Creates strategy and supervises execution of web initiatives focused primarily on promoting capabilities to prospects, clients and participants.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates strategies for utilizing the web to drive awareness and promote products and services to prospects and clients. Continually scans the industry for Internet Marketing best practices; staying abreast of current techniques and tools. Utilize current tools and research to develop/enhance competitive strategies.
  • Leads execution of strategy, working with Business Development, Marketing Communications, Product Planning, and Development – Infrastructure, that maximizes lead generation; increases Web utilization by prospects and clients to enhance their buying or existing experience with RS
  • Manages associates directly and indirectly (MARCOM associates) responsible for enabling tools and posting contact that drive traffic, improve the buying experience, and enhance product/service awareness of existing clients.
  • Track and measure web initiatives and campaigns. Continually evaluate web tools for business development and prospect/client promotional effectiveness.
  • Manages e-commerce budget.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Education: BS in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 years management experience.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • MBA is preferred.
  • At least 3 years management experience in an e-commerce setting.
  • At least 5 years developing and designing e-commerce Web sites.
  • Prior work on financial Web sites or applications is a plus.
  • Specialized training in graphical interface design and the user experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in the following: HTML, DHTML, ASP (VBScript) and/or ASP.NET, JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, FTP clients, WebTrendsLive (or similar technology), SQL Server, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of Internet trends and the ability to apply that knowledge to marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of retirement industry products and practices.
  • Highly PC literate in both hardware and software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and to work under pressure of time constraints.
  • Ability to analyze marketing metrics.
  • Familiar with budgets and business finance.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to independently learn new software programs and use of new hardware.
  • Good interpersonal skills in working with others; must be able to lead a team.
  • Ability to accept feedback and willingness to implement changes as requested.
