  • Responsibilities. Responsible for developing and enhancing effective programs and data structures that successfully meet the objective. Participate effectively in relevant aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) including planning, construction, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Participate in Java and Spring Boot based solutions, and development. Utilize knowledge of Human Capital Management and USA Payroll Domain. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts and microservices. Champion and deliver great user experience Work with close cross-functional alignment with designers, fellow engineers, and the product and business stakeholders. Collaborate closely with partnering teams to guarantee the full functionality and performance of the payroll transactions. Collaborate with team to design, develop, test, and refine deliverables. Investigate and resolve application issues as needed. Package, configure and deploy software. Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects and Analysts to develop and review requirements and design. Review and create system, software and functional design specifications that address requirements. Participate in project planning and release management. Acts as an expert source of technology and application knowledge within their domain. Research, recommend, and introduce new technologies and new uses of existing technologies. Working on product infrastructure modernization. Participate in business planning, R&D strategy, and setting direction. Providing technical guidance to the team on new features development. Engage in support activities like working with Business partners and resolve the issues effectively.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus six (6) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and four (4) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Four (4) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; Java Message Service (JMS); Spring Boot; Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD); Microservices architecture; JEE design patterns; AWS cloud technologies; Eclipse, STS, IntelliJ IDEA IDEs; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; ORMs, including Hibernate, JPA; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit and Jest; SQL Data Store – Oracle, Postgres; NO-SQL – Mongo, Dynamo, Document DB; CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GIT; Scrum Methodologies; and Human Capital Management and USA Payroll Domain.
