ADP is hiring a Sr. Director Strategic Initiatives for ADP Lyric HCM

In this position you will partner with the VP ADP Lyric HCM to create and rollout our global business strategy. Additionally, you’ll oversee and lead the the transformation, process improvement, and effectiveness and efficiency of the entire ADP Lyric HCM ecosystem. This will be executed by removing friction points, enhancing processes, and supporting the development of new tools. You will have direct responsibility for questioning the status quo and identifying opportunities to improve the associate and client experience, while focusing on overall growth of the business.
The nature of what you do every day will not change – your #1 goal is to help drive the success of the ADP Lyric HCM associates and clients. You will track the work activities of assigned duties pertaining to the development, implementation, and execution of a wide variety of initiatives used to support the growth of the business units focused on ADP Lyric HCM: Implementation, Service, Project Services, Talent, among others. Still, every day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide.
To thrive in this role, you will work closely with senior leaders to identify risks in proposals, build consensus and explain difficult information. You will be an external thought leader that can influence the strategy to address internal or external business and regulatory issues, proactively identify and solve the most complex problems that impact management and direction of the business. You will gather and utilize information from other areas of ADP that may benefit ADP Lyric HCM. This role functions as a liaison between and among various departments and business units in order to effectively ensure that our associates, leaders, and clients have the right support and strategic focus. Complete knowledge of the ADP organization and systems are required. You may conduct or facilitate periodic reviews of achievements and performance against strategic plans.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
• Act as the Strategic Initiatives Leader, reporting to the VP ADP Lyric HCM.
• Use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the overall strategy and efficacy of the ADP Lyric HCM ecosystem.
• Fosters strong collaboration with internal partners including Product, Sales, Operations, Implementation, Service, Client Success, Legal, Compliance, etc.
• Partner with BU and functional leaders to build strategies, develop business cases, define critical initiatives, and execute plans.
• Identify, develop, and drive long-term global deployment, implementation and service strategies based on fact-based analyses, focusing both on growth and operational improvement opportunities.
• Develops global offerings to support sales and market strategies and revenue strategies, understanding competitive challenges and opportunities.
• Utilizes business and technical acumen and knowledge of ADP Lyric HCM processes, product and organization structure to influence others, directly and indirectly, to achieve results.
• Continuously partners with stakeholders to understand and translate business objectives and areas of opportunity.
• Work with leadership to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress toward goals.
• Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes.
• Provide VP and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on strategic initiatives.
• Assist with assessing the risk when business decisions are made.
• Provide support and oversight and/or leadership for special projects and business initiatives from ideation to implementation.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
• BA/BS in Business Administration, or the equivalent in education and experience.
• 8+ years in a business environment with hands on experience in strategy, business consulting, or continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of the business services / enterprise software / human capital management industry.
• Experience launching and scaling HCM business offerings globally.
• Extensive experience in process improvement, with in-depth knowledge of delivering a high-quality client experience.
• Creative thinking with strong degree of adaptability and flexibility and one who thrives in an environment of continuous change and growth.
• Excellent communication, time management, project management and change management skills.
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications
• MBA and/or advanced degree.
• Experience with ADP Lyric HCM.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizations with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace, under pressure.
• Ability to work with different time zones, different cultures and different geographies and with all levels of leadership.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• A person who thinks and acts at the senior level.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time, depending on business needs.
